BRUSSELS (AFX) - The economic sentiment indicator in the euro zone was 99.1 in October compared with 100.1 in September, Eurostat said. In the EU, the economic sentiment indicator was 99.3 in October as opposed 100.3 the previous month, it said. In the euro zone, the consumer confidence indicator was -11 in October compared with -9 in September, while the industrial confidence indicator was -16 as opposed to -12, Eurostat said. In the EU, the consumer confidence indicator was -10 in October compared with -8 in September, while the industrial confidence indictor was -17 versus -13, it said.
